2025-2026 Club Tryouts

Evo Lax seeks top talent and developing players that are all committed to putting in the hard work to improve their skills in the game we all love.

Current and new players are invited to experience the Evo Lax difference:

All tryouts will be held at Centennial Field, 880 Bloomfield Ave. (behind Community Center) in Verona.

2028, 2027, 2026 (fall only) 10th - 12th grades Tue. July 8 7:15-8:45 pm

 

We are fielding competitive Evo Lax Boys Club teams for the 2025-26 year in grades 2-11.  We'll be making our first round club team offers within a week of tryouts. The following overview shares a snapshot of most of next season's club team schedule and offerings.

FALL PROGRAM

  • 6-9 Professional Training Sessions/Team Practices

  • 2 Fall Tournaments (Youth: Saturday Games;  High School: Sunday Games)

WINTER PROGRAM

  • 6-8 Professional Training Sessions (prepare for Spring season)

SPRING PROGRAM (youth teams only)

  • 4 Professional Training Sessions

SUMMER PROGRAM (June through mid-July, some teams conclude in June)

  • 10 Professional Team Practices

  • 4 Summer Tournaments

We have specialty coaches at goalie and face-off positions. High School 2028-2026 players receive IMCLA Sports Recruits Membership and all high school players receive college recruiting support. 

We also offer a robust set of supplemental trainings and an excellent box lacrosse program that will help players develop high level skills that translate into the field game.
